The Christmas Song 4:160:00/4:16
I fell in love with the idea of playing music when I saw La Bamba as a child, begging my parents to get me a guitar so that I could be like Richie Valens. Tragically, I lost that guitar at a Sacramento restaurant a few days later, and it wasn't until middle school that I started my musical journey learning to play the saxophone in band class.
Over two decades later I can't imagine doing anything else. It's more than playing music, it's an emotional connection to the stories behind the music, and stirring up those memories in a brief moment in time, a reminder of our shared spiritual connection. In every breath, every note, every song, my hope is that I can share the music that God has blessed me with in a way that is authentic and completely vulnerable, allowing my life experience to breathe life into these songs: songs of love, loss, sadness and hope.
